About Me
Hello! I’m Chase, a micro farmer-florist based in Missoula, Montana. I grew up on Bainbridge Island, a small island in Washington, where my life revolved around the outdoors. Whether climbing trees with friends, exploring the beach, working in the yard, or wandering through the beautiful Grand Forest, I was always outside, surrounded by nature.
I moved to Montana for college, attending school in Helena, and quickly fell even more in love with the outdoors. I spent my time hiking, backpacking, and immersing myself in the beauty of my surroundings, eager to learn from nature in every way.
Through my adventures in the wilderness, I began to admire natural beauty in a different way. I started to see it as art. greens and browns blending in the woods, valleys bursting with wildflowers, rivers weaving shades of blue through the landscape. I was inspired and had a whole new appreciation for the natural world.
My appreciation for natural beauty deepened, and I became captivated by flowers in particular. I started noticing them everywhere—on hikes, bike rides, even casual walks with my dog. Their endless variety and vibrancy fascinated me. I wanted to learn more, so I started photographing them, memorizing their names, and eventually working at a local nursery. I experimented with store-bought bouquets until, finally, I began growing my own flowers at home.
Before stepping into floristry and farming full-time, I worked in event management for five years. That experience—coordinating logistics, navigating high-energy event days, and understanding the emotions behind special occasions—prepared me well for this work. I wanted to take that knowledge and channel it into something I truly loved, and that’s how Beverly Blooms was born! Beverly is my middle name, one I’ve grown to love, just as my love for flowers and nature has only deepened over time. Combining that love with my value of community, I feel as though I have found my place.
Now, I’m growing more flowers than I ever imagined on my family’s farm just outside of St. Ignatius, Montana, while running this business in Missoula. Every day is spent expanding my knowledge, freelancing with local florists and farmers, creating floral designs for all kinds of events, and collaborating with fellow creatives and businesses. It’s a dream come true—and it’s only the beginning!
The support of my community means the world to me. Thank you for visiting and for supporting this small business!
